Custom Made Outdoor Blinds Adelaide Client Had Installed from Inviron Blinds.
A lovely lady purchased a courtyard home at Windsor Gardens, located Northeast of Adelaide and inherited some cheap PVC bistro blinds, bought from the local hardware shop which had seen better days. The zips were broken, and the PVC had hardened, split and gone very ‘cloudy’. They were removed and thrown out!
The verandah protecting her outdoor living area was now exposed to the Sun, wind and rain.
Additionally, as the area was close to the boundary fence, there were privacy issues.
The neighbours could see over the quite low fence and into the house.
Realising outdoor blinds were required, the lady started researching Adelaide outdoor blind companies for options and prices.
Having seen a couple of adverts on TV promoting specials, she made a few calls and asked they come out to quote.
After the first, which was all about sign now or miss out, the lady decided to search online for ‘outdoor blinds windsor gardens’ and came across Inviron Blinds.
Very impressed with the website, she asked whether someone could come out and give her a quote.
Right from the start, Gary’s approach was pleasantly different. He was professional, not wanting to talk about competitors, instead talked about Inviron Blinds’ options, materials and the benefits of using the locally manufactured & South Australian Ziptrak outdoor blinds system.
After measuring up, discussing colour options for the blind material & track used with the Alfresco style blinds and for the pelmets to protect the roll from the weather, Gary left, without mentioning price saying he would email Natalina a quote with several options.
After receiving the quote by email for 3 Alfresco Outdoor Blinds with pelmets and ‘centre locking mechanism’ so the blind could be locked from the inside, he lady replied and asked if they could be installed as soon as possible.
Two weeks later, an installer came out and hung the blinds, adding a few stops on the verandah posts at the customer’s request.
The colour ‘Bondi’ comes from the Environshade Plus range, having a UV Block factor of 92.7 and Shade Factor of 77.1 making it great for allowing plenty of light through while blocking out the Sun’s UV rays.
Apart from protecting the outdoor living area under the verandah from the Sun, wind and rain, the Alfresco blinds also provided privacy from neighbours.
The lady could see out through the blinds from under the verandah during the day, but people are unable to see through from the outside.
So happy with the result, the low-pressure professional approach all the way through and most of all, delighted with the price, which was substantially cheaper than the 2 other retail blind companies offering ‘specials’, Inviron Blinds had another happy customer who is now considering having roller shutters installed.
Did you know Inviron offer more than just outdoor blinds?
Keep the party going longer outside during Winter with one of our infrared outdoor heaters mounted on a stand, or mounted against a wall, roof or verandah beam that’s hard-wired with a switch. During Summer, keep cooler with one of our ceiling fans hard-wired in with a switch.
Outdoor infrared heaters are a cost-efficient way to keep you warm because they heat you and not the air, unlike most electric & gas heaters so you’re spending money warming you, not your neighbours.
During hot days and nights, outdoor ceiling fans creating airflow can make all the difference and is especially effective in keeping fly’s & mosquitoes away.
Even though it may be Summer when you install your outdoor blinds, Winter will come around, and vice versa, so setting yourself up for year-round entertaining is worth considering and cheaper too if the work is done by our electricians at the same time!
